Oakwood Riding School offer a range of services, including riding lessons from fully qualified teaching staff on our resident school horses, private instruction, children's riding camps and agistment.

MEMBERSHIP:

Membership of Oakwood Riding School is now available effective from 31st March, 2007. Membership is valid for one year and is renewable on a yearly basis. The following types of membership are available:

Membership Type

Full
Full Membership covers the member and partner/siblings (under 18). The benefits of becoming a member are:

  • After one years probationary membership, you may apply to become a full member, with voting rights.
  • Members are admitted by the Committee of Management after full discussion and secret ballot. The Committee's decision is final.
  • Full use of the facilities both equestrian and social.
  • $20.00 discount per month on agistment or lessons.
  • Free or discounted entry to any functions that may be held at the venue.
  • Become involved with a not-for-profit riding school that has been operating for nearly 50 years and now moving into the future.

Junior
Junior Membership is available for under 21 year olds and is great value for the junior rider who wants to enjoy the benefits of riding and using the facilities at a premier equestrian establishment. Junior members are not entitled to voting rights. Benefits of becoming a junior member are:

  • Full use of the facilities - equestrian and social.
  • Free or discounted entry to any functions that may be held at the venue.
  • Become involved with a not-for-profit riding school that has been operating for nearly 50 years and now moving into the future.

Social
Social Membership is available to the non-rider who is interested in being involved in Oakwood Riding School. Social members are not entitled to voting rights.

All applications for membership need to be proposed and seconded by a Member. All members are required to act on and abide by the rules as set out in the Constitution (a copy of which is available at the office).
