A SAFE AND HAPPY HOME FOR YOUR HORSE
Oakwood was designed from the ground up, with the vision to be a safe haven for horses.
All paddocks are serviced with fresh water (not bore water) and we have worming and weed management programs in place. At Oakwood there is no need for you to cart hay! Your horse will enjoy our home grown grass hay as a part of your agistment fee. We take pride in our hay, and strive to produce the best quality grass hay every year.
Every horse is unique! To make sure we keep every horse happy, we offer a number of agistment options for your consideration.
HORSE ACCOMMODATION
PRIVATE PADDOCKS
Private paddocks feature safe 5 strand smooth wire fencing, most with paddock shelters (some without) and automatic water troughs.
SHARED PADDOCKS
Large enough to house 2 horses, these paddocks feature safe 5 strand smooth wire fencing and automatic water troughs.
GROUP PADDOCKS
Our largest paddocks to house the entire herd! Separate mare and gelding group paddocks, most with natural shade from trees, with automatic water troughs.
LARGE YARDS
Our large yards are the perfect size to safely hold a horse that is rehabilitating from injury or a horse that requires temporary restriction.
Upon arrival, your horse will be placed in a large yard for 1 week as a part of our worm management program.
STABLES
Our stables, housed in the centre of our undercover facility, are incredibly safe and secure.
With concrete flooring covered in solid rubber matting in each stall and a 360' open view through steel spacers, our stable accommodation is second to none.
AGISTMENT SERVICES
FEEDING (PRIVATE PADDOCKS ONLY)
You are welcome to provide us with your horse's ready made feeds. Alternatively you can leave the feeding to us! We are happy to make up and feed your horse according to your instructions. We are also happy to discuss your horse's needs, provide recommendations, and feed accordingly. It's completely up to you!
MANURE PICK UP (PRIVATE AND SEMI-PRIVATE PADDOCKS ONLY)
In order to protect the health of your horse, and to maintain Oakwood's pristine surrounds, we require manure to be picked up from all private and semi-private paddock accommodation. If you are short on time, we are happy to take care of this for you.
BRING IN HORSE FOR VET OR SPECIALIST
We understand that there are times when your horse needs specialist attention, and you simply can't be there. We can bring your horse in and hold for your vet, dentist, farrier, chiropractor or other specialist, so your horse can get the care needed, and you don't have to worry!

Unserviced large shared paddock (2 horses) with shelter $800 per calendar month

Private paddock: 1 horse
Shared paddock: 2 horses with 1 owner
Group paddock: Herd of horses (mares paddocked separately to geldings), multiple owners
Full Service: 2 x hard feeds per day, 2 x hay per day (Oakwood supplied), 2 x rug changes per day.
Unserviced: DIY hard feeds, hay & rug changes.
Additional, specialised feeds and supplements are to be provided by agistees to Oakwood.
Rug changes are done according to the Oakwood rugging policy.
